dougsD&D Development has been in the building business for 20+ years and specializes in new home construction, remodeling, and light commercial projects.  Both Doug Kilpatrick and Doug Weirauch of D&D Development, Inc. were born and raised in Oconee county and maintain a strong connection to the community. Having built over 150 homes and developed two subdivisions in this area, D&D work hard to be the preferred builder in the 5 counties (Athens-Clarke, Oglethorpe, Barrow, Walton and Morgan) surrounding their home. D&D offer hassle free, honest, feel good attitude about quality, value and service while providing their clients the best home available for the money. Having never built a home before, we were very apprehensive about the process. That concern was put to rest after just one meeting with Doug and Doug. They prepared a detailed cost estimate and time line, both of which were met with great accuracy. They were personally involved in the day-to-day construction process, and worked very closely with their subcontractors, all of who were top notch. Doug and Doug’s primary concern was to be sure we were 100% satisfied with each phase of the construction project. “It wasn’t right until we were happy.”
Doug and Doug are well established members of the Oconee County community. They work very hard to please their customers, and they build a great home. Our relationship did not end with the completion of the project. We remain great friends, and now five years later, they are still available whenever needed to help and advise with routine maintenance issues and new projects.

Doug did a such a great job the first time that I have since used him for two other projects and about to embark on a fourth. I have found Doug to be honest, trust worthy, and reliable. He listens to my ideas and explains his ideas to me. He knows I have a tight budget and gives me a complete estimate of the job. He has not run over on any of them. He and his workers do superb work. The area, when they leave, is as neat and clean as when they started. I would recommend them to anyone.
